Africa Research Excellence Fund Research Development Fellowship, 2024

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: African countries
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship will support research in human health, applicable to any subject related to this field.
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Be early career researchers, including research-active post-doctoral scientists and clinicians.
  • Hold higher qualifications.
  • Be nationals of, and employed in, an African country.

Offered Benefits

What We Offer:

• • A three to nine-month placement at a leading research institution in the UK, Europe, or Africa.
  • Additional support at your home institution before and after the placement.
  • Funding to cover reasonable accommodation, travel, and training costs (up to £47,000).
