Admission Award for CNFS at University of Regina for Bachelor Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Regina (U of R) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 108 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

The awards will be presented to University of Regina undergraduate students who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Bilingual Option Program for the first time (a student repeating their first year in this same program is not eligible);
  • Is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, or holds a refugee status in Canada. International students, non-Canadian students holding temporary work visas or waiting for permanent status are not eligible;
  • Enrolled as a full-time student and remains registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours (full-time student) in each semester the award is presented.
