Australian Catholic University (ACU) is offering the International Student Accommodation Scholarship to support international students with the cost of living while studying in Australia. This scholarship provides a 20% reduction in ACU Student Accommodation fees for a 12-month rental agreement across selected campuses.

The scholarship program is open to all international students enrolling in an undergraduate degree at ACU for Semester 1, 2026. Applicants must be studying on-campus at the Canberra, North Sydney, Strathfield, Blacktown, or Ballarat campuses and sign a 12-month accommodation agreement with ACU Student Accommodation.

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all international students.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any undergraduate program offered by ACU.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Be international students.

    • Be enrolled in Semester 1, 2026, in any ACU undergraduate degree.

    • Study on-campus at Canberra, North Sydney, Strathfield, Blacktown, or Ballarat.

    • Apply for and sign a 12-month accommodation agreement at ACU Student Accommodation (room availability subject to confirmation).

    • Submit a written statement (approx. 300 words) addressing:

      • How the scholarship will benefit you.

      • Any barriers you have overcome in pursuit of education.

      • Your goals through completing your degree.

  • A 20% reduction in ACU Student Accommodation fees for a 12-month rental agreement.

  • Available for a range of residence types depending on the campus:

    • NSW campuses: All room types (studio, premium studio, multi-share apartment).

    • Canberra campus: Studio apartment in Blackfriars Residence.

    • Ballarat campus: Private room in Managed Residential house or a two-semester agreement in Camilus Residence.

  • Opportunity to reapply for the scholarship at the end of the rental agreement.

Application Process

Applicants must complete the online application form and provide the required written statement. Applications open on 1 August 2025 and close on 1 March 2026. Early applications are encouraged, as offers may be awarded before the deadline.
