ACROBATIC allocates an annual budget of 3.550.000 DKK to support both new and ongoing projects associated with the center. Applicants have the opportunity to submit funding applications twice a year, enabling support for a diverse range of clinical and methodological studies.
The ACROBATIC Grants are designed to support projects that address specific studies within three clinical focus areas: “Prehabilitation and preoperative risk assessment,” “Surgical techniques and innovation,” and “Survivorship.” The aim is to encourage research initiatives that focus on surgical oncology and align with ACROBATIC’s overarching purpose and strategy. Applicants must actively involve individuals and departments affiliated with ACROBATIC or have been included subsequently following approval by the Management Team. Projects must also demonstrate collaboration with multiple Danish Multidisciplinary Cancer Groups (DMCGs) or have a national scope, adhering to ethical guidelines set by the Danish Cancer Society.Acrobatics is a captivating art form that combines agility, strength, and grace to create breathtaking performances.
