Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) is inviting candidates to apply for the Pacific Agriculture Scholarships, Support and Climate Resilience Program (PASS-CR). The study program is open for the academic session 2024/2025.
To be eligible for the ACIAR Pacific Agriculture Scholarships, Support, and Climate Resilience Program (PASS-CR), applicants must be citizens and residents of Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, or Vanuatu. They must meet the postgraduate study requirements at either the University of the South Pacific (USP) or Fiji National University (FNU). Additionally, applicants must align their research proposals with topics listed in the PASS-CR 2025 Compendium or develop proposals that fit within the broader research themes provided.The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) is a government agency that fosters international agricultural research partnerships to improve livelihoods and food security in developing countries. Established in 1982, ACIAR collaborates with research institutions, governments, and NGOs worldwide to address agricultural challenges through innovation and sustainable practices. By funding and supporting projects, ACIAR aims to enhance agricultural productivity, resilience, and environmental sustainability, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
