Academic Achievement Scholarships at British University in Egypt for Bachelor Established in 2005, The British University in Egypt is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of El Shorouk (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Cairo. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Egypt, The British University in Egypt (BUE) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The British University in Egypt (BUE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 14 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Firstly, applicants are required to register in the undergraduate degree program at the university. After that, you are eligible to apply for the opportunity.
  • Supporting Documents: Students have to submit a birth certificate, six passport-size photos and applicant & legal guardian’s national id.
  • Admission Requirements: Aspirants must complete Arabic & Religion exams as per the level of Thanwaya Amma either in Egypt or at the level of the national & official reviews of the concerned countries of high school certificate.
  • All Egyptian male students must attend and pass (Military Education) subject during the period of study at the BUE to meet the graduation requirements.
  • Language Requirement: Candidates have to meet the following criteria: Applicants must either sit for the BUE English Test (Aptis), administered by the British Council in Cairo or submit a valid academic IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 6.0.

Benefits: The British University in Egypt will provide up to 35% tuition fee for students based on percentage.
