Potential candidates with a degree in related disciplines are also welcome. All accepted researchers are asked to move to Bremen for the program as a presence at the institution is required.

Applicants have to demonstrate a broad thematic fit between the dissertation proposal and the outlined project lines. Up to three possibly fitting project lines can be specified in the application.

7 Doctoral Researcher Positions (f/m/d) in RTG at BIGSSS for Phd Founded in 1971, Universität Bremen (University of Bremen) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized city of Bremen (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Senatorin für Bildung und Wissenschaft, Bremen (Bremen Senator for Education and Science), Universität Bremen (UB) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universität Bremen (UB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Offered Benefits

Successful applicants will receive a work contract for 36 months, based on salary scale E13 TV-L/TVöD (65%), at Jacobs University or the University of Bremen.
