The Wales DTP awards over 50 ESRC studentships annually across 20 accredited pathways. These studentships are open to UK and EU students for pursuing research training in the field students want to work in.
The Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) trains top-level social scientists across Wales on a range of issues affecting society today. It is a collaboration between Cardiff University (the lead institution), Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, the University of Gloucestershire and Swansea University.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
