Applications are invited for 3-year PhD scholarships in Molecular Microbiology to study in Denmark. International students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
The projects aim to characterize factors that are contributing to the survival (persistence) of bacteria in the stationary phase using Escherichia coli as the model organism. The PhD candidates will gain experience in working with bacterial genetics, biochemistry and physiology, using cutting edge techniques in molecular biology and microbiology.
