2026 Bangor University Vice-Chancellor Scholarship for Master Established in 1884, Bangor University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Bangor (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Bangor University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bangor University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Excellent Academic Background – achieved or on course to achieve the equivalent of a UK 1st class Bachelors degree.
  • Demonstrated commitment towards sustainable development in your own country and working towards supporting future generations. 
  • You must be self-funding. Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship.
  • Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels. 
  • The above scholarship is available for full-time on-campus courses only.
  • Not open to students studying at Bangor University International College (BUIC).
  • Not open to Non-graduating students e.g. Study Abroad

Application Process

Required Documents:

Step 1: You MUST have an offer or applying to study at Bangor University before you can apply for this scholarship. 
Step 2: Check your Eligibility for the scholarship and carefully read the conditions listed below.
Step 3: Complete the Vice-Chancellor scholarship  application form before the deadline.
Step 4: Eligible applications will be forwarded to the academic school to make a decision, and the successful candidate will be informed by July 2025 (September intake), April 2025 (May intake), and the beginning of January 2026 (January intake).
Step 5: To accept the scholarship you will be required to complete a scholarship acceptance form and pay a tuition fee deposit (amount stated on your offer letter) within two weeks of the scholarship offer.
