2025 University of Manitoba Fully Funded Dr. Mohammad Nadimi Lab PhD and MSc Scholarship for Master Founded in 1877, University of Manitoba is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Winnipeg (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Manitoba. University of Manitoba (U of M) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Biosystems Engineering
    • Electrical/Computer Engineering
    • Agricultural/Biological Engineering
    • Or related fields
  • Programming and data analysis (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
  • Experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • Knowledge of sensors (NIR, X-ray, HSI, gas sensors)
  • Grain handling, post-harvest metrics, or storage modeling
  • Scientific publications or prior research experience

Offered Benefits

The University of Manitoba Scholarship is fully funded. It will cover tuition fees, and provide;

  • MSc Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $21,000/year
  • PhD Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $26,000/year
  • Start Dates: Flexible – Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Summer 20
