2025 University of Kent DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships for Master


The DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships have been launched for the academic year 2025/26, offering an exciting opportunity for applicants from Africa’s KAZA region to pursue a Master’s degree in Conservation Science.

This scholarship scheme, made possible by the generous support of the Notsew Orm Sands Foundation, aims to empower individuals with a passion for conservation and environmental stewardship.

Benefits of University of Kent DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships

  • Number of Scholarships: Up to six scholarships are available for the academic year 2024/25, as well as for the subsequent two years.
  • Funding Coverage: Successful applicants will receive a fully funded studentship, covering full tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and travel expenses to and from the UK.

Requirements for University of Kent DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be nationals of, or have official refugee status in, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
  • Have at least two years of work experience in the conservation sector.
  • Be in possession of a good undergraduate degree, with a minimum of a UK 2:1 or equivalent.
  • Meet the  UK Visas and Immigration specifications and  University of Kent English language requirements.

2025 University of Kent DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships for Master Founded in 1965, University of Kent is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Canterbury (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East England.
