The NITDA Digital Literacy For All Program (DL4All) is an initiative empowering every citizen with the digital skills they need to thrive in today’s interconnected world.
NITDA is working with the Federal Ministry of Education to ensure that every Nigerian student graduates with 21st-century digital skills, from primary to tertiary institutions.
The program if followed will benefit Nigerian youths with relevant digital skills needed for survival in today’s world.
Eligibility Criteria
Based on the National Digital Literacy Framework (NDLF), digital literacy has six competence areas
- Information & Data Literacy: Equips individuals with the capacity to effectively find, evaluate, and manage information encountered in the digital space.
- Problem-Solving: Equips individuals with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Digital Content Creation: Equips individuals with the knowledge and ability to create and share digital content responsibly.
- Communication & Collaboration: Focuses on the skillset required to utilize digital tools for online communication and collaboration.
- Devices & Software Operation: Focuses on the ability to use various digital devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers) with ease.
- Safety: Focuses on the understanding and practices necessary to navigate the internet safely.
