The Harald Liebe Graduate Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering was established in 2018 by Friends of the former South Saskatchewan Section of Petroleum Society in support of educational scholarships or bursaries for Petroleum Systems Engineering students.

Harald Liebe Graduate Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering at University of Regina 2025 Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:

  • Open to Graduate students pursuing a degree in Petroleum Systems Engineering;
  • Demonstrates academic excellence by a minimum of 80% University Grade Point Average;
  • Demonstrates financial need; and
  • Demonstrates community involvement.

  • one page statement demonstrating community involvement; and
