Benefits of Foursquare Gospel Church National Scholarship Award
The Foursquare National Scholarship will cover the full expenses of your education until you graduate provided you maintain the required CGPA.
Requirements for Foursquare Gospel Church National Scholarship Award
To qualify for the Foursquare National Scholarship Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Financial Need
- Applicants must be indigent, with verifiable proof of financial inability to meet educational expenses.
- Institutional Eligibility
- Only students enrolled in Federal or State universities, polytechnics, and other recognized tertiary institutions are eligible to apply.
- Secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution.
- Students of McPherson University are also eligible to apply.
- Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate Applicants:
- Must have valid admission into a Federal or State tertiary institution.
- Students in 200 level and above must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5/5 (Second Class Upper Division) and provide a duly certified statement of results.
- Secondary School Applicants:
- Only students in Senior Secondary School (SS1 – SS3) are eligible.
- Must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in their previous academic session.
- Undergraduate Applicants:
- Renewal Criteria
- Undergraduate awardees must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5 (Second Class Upper Division) for scholarship renewal.
- Secondary school awardees must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70% to continue receiving the scholarship.
- Age Limit
- Undergraduate applicants must not be older than 27 years.
- Secondary school applicants must not be older than 20 years.
Selection Process
Guidelines:
- Qualified applicants will undergo an aptitude test administered by an independent body, and must score an average of 75%
- Successful written test candidates will be invited for oral interviews with an independent panel, with their decisions being final.
- We may conduct due diligence to verify applicant claims and documents.
- Only successful candidates will be notified of their scholarship awards.
