15 Fully-Funded PhD Positions for Early Stage Researchers in Europe Established in 1962, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Ruhr University Bochum) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Bochum (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North Rhine-Westphalia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia), Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Offered Benefits

The University will provide 15 fully-funded PhD positions for a duration of 36 months in Europe to the eligible deserving students.

  • Supporting Documents: Must submit a CV, academic transcripts, passport, letter of recommendation, and other relevant documents.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must need to submit previous year degrees or certificates with a good academic result.
  • Language Requirement: If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English language proficiency proof for non-native speakers equivalent to CEFR level C1 (IELTS 7) or above.
