Requirements for Northumbria University Postgraduate Scholarship

To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
  • Be domiciled in Nigeria
  • Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
  • Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2025 or January 2026 
  • Meet all individual course requirements

Northumbria University Postgraduate International Scholarship 2025/26 for Master Founded in 1992, Northumbria University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Newcastle upon Tyne (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North East England. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Northumbria University (UNN) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Northumbria University (UNN) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 27 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria
