The Women in Global Health Leadership Fellowship is a year-long program designed to advance the leadership skills of talented African women passionate about promoting gender equity within global health systems. The fellowship offers a comprehensive curriculum covering global health policy, leadership, knowledge translation, and mentorship skills. Experts deliver these through innovative lectures, case studies, role plays, workshops, discussion forums, and reflective exercises. Participants are also supported by an amazing group of mentors throughout the journey.
The program was created in collaboration between the University of Toronto Dalla Lana School of Public Health, Moi University School of Public Health (Kenya), and the University of Cape Town School of Public Health (South Africa), with partnership from the Mastercard Foundation. It aims to create safe spaces for women leaders to share experiences, gain gender-transformative leadership skills, and push forward equitable health policies.
