Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship in the US for Course

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from across the United States
• Eligible Course or Subjects: The program will be awarded to study in high school or college in any subject
• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must:
• Applicant must submit scores for a school-administered, nationally-normed standardized test for the past two years (5th and 6th grade) if administered by the school/district.
• Applicants must take either the ACT or the SAT Reasoning Test. Applicants should receive a score of 20 or higher in either Math or Reading on the ACT or receive a score of 500 or higher in either Math or Critical Reading on the SAT.
• Applicants must be in the 9th stanine, 97th percentile or be marked as “exceeds” in at least ONE qualifying subtest or total battery/composite on a standardized test for the past two years.
• Acceptable academic areas include keywords such as: Mathematics, Mathematics Total, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal, Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Language, Language Total, English Language Arts, Total Battery or Total Composite
• Applicants under 13 years old must register by mail, due to Internet privacy laws.
• Applicants must be a United States citizen who plans to attend a high school program based in the United States to apply for the grant

Offered Benefits

• The program will be awarded a four-year award toward a boarding school but only covers day student tuition.
• The room and boarding components of the school’s costs, as well as any/all other fees (textbooks, lab materials, medical, laundry, and travel) must be covered by the Scholar’s family or another source, such as financial aid directly from the school.

Application Process

The mode of application is online.

• How to Apply: To apply, the applicants must submit an online application that will open on November 2019.
• Supporting Documents: Two recommendations are required and ACT or SAT scores are required to submit.

1. Standardized test score reports should be included in the application packet sent directly to IEA by the applicant.
2. There are two steps to submit your official ACT or SAT scores. 1) Applicant must provide IEA’s score code at the testing site on the day of exam – SAT CODE: 3862 or ACT CODE: 7818. 2) Applicant must upload a copy of their official score report with their online application.

• Admission Requirements: All applicants must take either the ACT or the SAT Reasoning Test.
• Language Requirement: All students need appropriate English language skills for admission to the Institute for Educational Advancement.
