University of Saskatchewan Robert C. Douglas and Joanne R. Sutherland Scholarship Fund 2025 for Master Founded in 1907, University of Saskatchewan is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Saskatoon (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Saskatchewan (uSask) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Saskatchewan (uSask) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 112 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) or the Masters or public Policy (MPP) program
  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the semester the scholarship is presented
  • Minimum program grade point average (GPA) of 80%

Application Process

USask students: Students must email stating the name of the scholarship they are applying to in the email subject line and attaching the following documents:

  • Word document (250 words maximum) that ‘Describes your most significant contribution’ (demonstrate the connection as to why this is your significant contribution regarding this application);
  • Word document (500 words maximum) that outlines your research proposal (MPP) or study proposal description (MPA).
