University of Saskatchewan Linda and Ron Fritz Graduate Scholarship in English 2025 Founded in 1907, University of Saskatchewan is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Saskatoon (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Saskatchewan (uSask) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Saskatchewan (uSask) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 112 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to students who have completed an undergraduate degree with a major or specialization in English at the University of Saskatchewan. To be eligible, students must:

  • have obtained a cumulative average of at least 80% in their degree studies in English
  • Provide evidence that they have been admitted into a graduate degree program in English in England or Scotland.
