Awana is offering its scholarship college or university program to connect students with opportunities for ongoing education by pleasing them with financial scholarships from quality institutions.
Identifying the high caliber of students emanating from Awana Youth Ministries, these schools are excited to offer awards for students who have grasped various levels of achievement within the Awana® curriculum.
Offered Benefits
The university will provide all the following:
- Appalachian Bible College: Citation = $3,000, and Meritorious = $2,000
- Baptist College of Florida: Citation = $4,000
- Boston Baptist College: Citation = $6,000 plus a trip to study abroad on our annual spring break trip during your first year, and Meritorious = $3000 plus trip to study abroad on our annual spring break trip during your first year
- Brookes Bible Institute: Citation Award: Annual amount of $450, and Meritorious Award: Annual amount of $300.
- Bryan College: Citation = $4,000
- Cairn University: Citation = $7500, $1500 per year for five years, and Meritorious = $5,000, $1000 per year for five years
- Calvary Bible College and Seminary: Citation = $2,000
- Central Christian College: Citation = $4,000
- Crossroads Bible College: Citation Award = $8,000, and Meritorious Award = $4,000
- Crossroads College: Citation = $6,000, Meritorious = $4,000, and Timothy = $2,000
- Dallas Baptist University: Citation = $12,000, Meritorious = $8,000, and Timothy = $2,000
- Davis College: Citation = $6,000, and Meritorious = $4,000
- Dayspring Bible College: Citation Award: $8,000 = $2000 per year ($1000 each semester for 4 years, Meritorious Award: $4,000 = $1000 per year ($500 each semester for 4 years), and Timothy Award: $2,000 = $500 per year ($250 each semester for 4 years)
- Faith Baptist Bible College – Ankeny, IA: $2000
- Grace Bible College: Citation = $1,200
- Grace College: Citation = $4,000, and Meritorious = $2,000
- John Witherspoon College: $1000 for the Citation Award, one-time award, $500 per semester, first year only, and Students must have earned Citation Award within the past 5 years
- Judson College: Citation = $6,000, Meritorious = $3,200, and Timothy = $2,000
- Judson University: Citation = $4,000
- Kansas Christian College: Timothy Award – $2,000 ($250 per semester for up to eight semesters), Meritorious Award – $4,000 ($500 per semester for up to eight semesters), and Citation Award – $8,000 ($1,000 per semester for up to eight semesters). This award may not be combined with any of the institutional academic programs.
- Lancaster Bible College: Citation = $1,500, Meritorious = $1,000, and Timothy = $750
- Multnomah University: Citation = $1,000 each year
- New Tribes Bible Institute: Citation Award: $1000 total award; applied first and third semesters ($500 each) – total program is 4 semesters (2 years).
- North Greenville College: Citation = $2000, and Meritorious = $2000
- North Park University: Citation Award $1000 ($500 toward first and second semesters)
- Oak Hills Christian College: Citation = $6,400, Meritorious = $4,800, and Timothy = $3,200
- Patrick Henry College: Citation = $3000
- Piedmont International University: Citation = $1,000, Meritorious = $500, and Timothy = $500
- Rochester College: Citation = $5,000 Limited to 10 semesters
- Rocky Mountain Bible College: Timothy = $2,000 No limit, Meritorious = $2,000 No limit, and Citation = $4,000 No limit
- San Diego Christian College: Citation = $4,000, Meritorious = $3,000, and Timothy = $2000
- Shasta Bible College: Citation = $1,000
- Southeastern Bible College: Citation = $1,000 per year for freshman and sophomore years only (2 years maximum)
- Summit University of Pennsylvania: Citation = $6,000
- Tennessee Temple University: Citation = $4,000, Meritorious = $2000, and Timothy = $2000
- Trinity International University: Timothy Award $1,000, Meritorious Award $2,000, and Citation Award $4,000
- Union University: Citation = $4,000, $1000 awarded annually
- Verity Institute: $1000 annually
- Washington Bible College: Varies, Citation = $1,000, and Meritorious = $500
