Law Office of David P. Shapiro 2019 Autism Scholarship for Bachelor

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: the United States
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in any course and subject offered by the vocational school or an institution of higher learning including a community college, 4-year college or university.
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must be United States citizens diagnosed with ASD (DSM-V) and who wish to further their education may apply.
• Applicants do not have to be enrolled at an educational institution when the application is submitted
• Candidates do not have to be joined in school at the time of application, even though the grant funds must be used within one year from the date the award is announced.

Offered Benefits

The Law Office of David P. Shapiro is awarding $1,000 award that will apply to defray in part the cost of tuition. The award will pay directly to the school chosen by the successful students.

Application Process

• How to Apply: To be considered for the ASD scholarship, all applicants must complete an online application and upload a required essay.
• Supporting Documents: Provide a statement of 100 words or less and words and explain how you will use the funds if you get the award, as well as, an option essay of 1000 words or less in which tells how ASD has had an effect on your education.
• Entry Requirements: The firm request evidence of your diagnosis, as well as evidence of your acceptance at the educational institution of your choice.
