University of Calgary Continuing Undergraduate Awards 2025 for Bachelor Founded in 1966, University of Calgary is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Calgary (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Alberta. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Alberta, University of Calgary (UCalgary) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Calgary (UCalgary) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 53 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 10-20% making this Canadian higher education organization a most selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have been enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program (excluding Juris Doctor and Doctor of Medicine programs) in the most recent fall and winter terms.
  • For the majority of awards, you must have completed a minimum of 24.00 academic units over the most recent fall and winter terms. Some awards allow for a minimum completion of 18.00 units. 
    • Students who were in a co-op or internship program for both the most recent fall and winter terms are not eligible. If you were enrolled in them for only one term, contact Student Financial Support ( ) to verify eligibility.
  • You must also be continuing in your program by registering full-time in the upcoming academic year. Students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services to receive accommodations in their program qualify for awards after completing at least 18 units in the most recent fall and winter terms.
  • The cumulative grade point average (GPA) used for awards purposes is based on all courses you most recently completed in the fall and winter terms as a full-time student. Scholarships require a minimum GPA of 3.20. For bursaries, the minimum GPA required is 2.00.
  • You must complete the on-line awards application; selection is based on academic merit however other criteria such as financial need (for bursaries), and/or extracurricular activities, leadership, volunteerism, etc. may be required depending on the award terms of reference.
  • Supplemental exams, deferred exams, special deferred exams or term work may affect your eligibility for awards.
