The Andjelic Land Inc. Graduate Award was established in 2018. As land owners and farmers in the province of Saskatchewan; it is the donors desire to help give back to students who focus on research and technical development in agriculture.

University of Regina Andjelic Land Inc. Graduate Award 2025 for Master Established in 1911, University of Regina is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Regina (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Regina (U of R) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Regina (U of R) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 108 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Canadian higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

The award will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:

  • Accepted as a fully-qualified graduate student to any University of Regina graduate program;
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%;
  • Open to a student, under the supervision of a faculty member, who performs agricultural related research for grain commodities; including but not limited to cereals, pulses, oil seeds, cover crops etc., with emphasis on:
    • Agricultural inputs and soil amendments for grain commodities;
    • Better management of resources used in grain commodities;
    • The effect of climate change and adaptation on grain commodities; or
    • Policy and regulation that support the sustainable development of grain commodities;
    • Registered and remains registered as a full time student;
    • May only receive the award once within the student’s academic career

$4,000 will be awarded to the recipient of the University of Regina Andjelic Land Inc. Graduate Award 2025
