This competition is open to female Indigenous graduate students enrolled in any graduate program in the College of Kinesiology (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) or the Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) program. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Kinesiology.

University of Saskatchewan Alphonsine Lafond-Colette Bourgenje Women in Innovation Scholarship 2025 for PhD Founded in 1907, University of Saskatchewan is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Saskatoon (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Saskatchewan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Saskatchewan, University of Saskatchewan (uSask) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Saskatchewan (uSask) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must have either verified their Indigenous Membership with the Office of the Vice-Provost Indigenous Engagement, as per the university’s  deybwewin | taapwaywin | tapwewin policy, or have started the process at the time of application.

Selection will be based upon academic achievement, as determined by the CGPS Awards Committee.
