The Boys Without Borders, Nigeria (BWBNG) has announced the second edition of the Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition, calling for submissions.

The Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition is an event put together annually to commemorate the International Day of the Boy-Child. As a boy-child advocacy organisation, Boys Without Borders empowers the male child, raising awareness on issues that affect them and creating platforms to help them get proper self-development.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be male undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
  • A photo ID must be submitted with the essay. If unavailable, an alternative document with a name, photo, and school name is required.
  • Essays must be 800 to 1,000 words.
  • The entrant’s name and school must not appear in the document. This information will be collected through the submission form.
  • The essay must include a title and word count.
  • Plagiarised essays will be disqualified.
