University of Essex Vice-Chancellor’s Global Talent Scholarships in UK Founded in 1964, University of Essex is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Colchester (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East of England. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Loughton, Southend. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Essex is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Essex offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 55 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries:  Students from Bahrain, Canada, China, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and the USA can apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Students can apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes of choice taught at the University of Essex. 
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded. 
  • The applicants must be ordinarily a resident in one of the countries specified in above. 
  • The applicants must be starting their first year of study on an Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Master’s programme at the University of Essex in 2023-24.

The University of Essex will provide the scholarship winners with 50% of the first-year tuition fee, which will be paid as a discount on registration.
