An excellent opportunity for overseas students in DenmarkThe Novo Nordisk Foundation is an independent Danish foundation with corporate interests and objectives to provide a stable basis for the commercial and research activities of the companies in the Novo Group. Headquartered in Denmark, this foundation was established in 1989. It has a grant awarding feature that contributes to society by helping them develop world-class education, creating jobs ad growth and helping people in vulnerable groups.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: International and Danish students.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The applicants must apply to be positioned as a postdoctoral, senior researcher, assistant/associate professor or professor at a research institute in Denmark.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must work within the field of art history research and
  • The applicants must be anchored at a university, art academy, museum or other knowledge institution in Denmark.
  • The applicants must be at a postdoctoral, senior researcher, assistant/associate professor or professor level.
  • The applicants must have carried out documented, independent, original and significant research.

Offered Benefits

The successfully selected candidates will be awarded this grant worth DKK 1 million per year by the Novo Nordisk Foundation to support research projects for a duration of 2 to 4 years. The funds can be expected to cover salary, tuition fees, travel expenses, publication costs, operation expenses, conference participation, relocation expenses, collaborative activities, and administrative support.
