The African Leadership Academy Summer Engineering Academy (ALA SEA) program, sponsored by Chevron Corporation, is designed for highly motivated and talented high school students in Angola, Egypt and Nigeria between the ages of 15 and 18 in South Africa that are interested in a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).
ALA SEA intensive program will engage participants in various engineering practices and disciplines as they compete in groups to create and design a solution to an important, relevant engineering design challenge, being led by a team of talented educators in STEM and professional engineers.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must be enrolled in science/STEM class and be between 15 and 18 years.
