With the aim of providing a world-class education to highly qualified students, Baker Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC is providing Diversity Scholarships for the academic 2024/2025.
The funding program helps those candidates who want to pursue a Rising 2L Law students. Recipients will be awarded a minimum six-week, salaried 2L Summer Associate position for the summer of 2025 in one of our Firm’s offices. Additionally, each recipient will be awarded $20,000, to help defray the cost of law school tuition and related expenses, which will be paid in two disbursements, conditioned on the following:
Application Process
The application process opens on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, and closes at midnight on Friday, June 14, 2024. Applicants must submit their materials via the online application portal accessible through Baker Donelson’s website. Application requirements include a current resume, a personal statement outlining how the applicant envisions contributing to Baker Donelson, an unofficial law school transcript, a legal writing sample, and one professional recommendation.
Benefits: Each scholarship recipient will receive up to $20,000 to support their legal education. Additionally, they will be awarded a minimum six-week, salaried 2L Summer Associate position for the summer of 2025 at one of Baker Donelson’s offices. The scholarship funds will be disbursed in two installments, with $10,000 awarded after the completion of the summer associate clerkship and $10,000 upon acceptance of an associate position and graduation from law school.
