CSC China Link Scholarship Program for Bachelor Established in 1920, Harbin Institute of Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Harbin (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Heilongjiang. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): ShenZhen, WeiHai. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Open to citizens of all countries except China
Acceptable Course or Subjects: All disciplines offered by Chinese universities
Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be citizens of countries other than China, demonstrating good moral character and academic excellence, and be in good mental and physical health.
  2. Meet age requirements: under 45 years for general scholars and under 50 years for senior scholars.
  3. Be registered as full-time students or employed as full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China.
  4. Have received either a pre-admission letter or an invitation letter issued by HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology).

Application Process

Applicants should:

  1. Obtain pre-admission documents or invitations from HIT.
  2. Complete the CSC online application and upload supporting documents via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System ( https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login), using HIT’s Agency Number 10213.
  3. Meet HIT’s nomination deadlines: April 15, 2024; July 15, 2024; October 15, 2024; and January 15, 2025.
  4. Await CSC’s scholarship admission results, which are expected to be sent to HIT on May 15, 2024; August 15, 2024; November 15, 2024; and February 15, 2025.
  5. Await notification of scholarship admission results from HIT.
